I didn't have insurance when i had my previous piggies (rip) and spent quite a lot, (not that i minded of course, as i just wanted my sweeties to get better) but i was considering pet insurance for my next pigs. Mercifully my lads are in good health and have only been to the vet for nail clipping but it's best to be prepared so i'm looking for advice from those more experienced! I was hoping some on here might have positive experiences and/or know which is the best company to go with for insuring piggies. For three pigs the essential was 300 something a year, 400 something for the premium.

Can uk based guinea pig parents recommend any pet insurance companies and plans for me? The pigs could not be insured if they were over 5 years though.
