Nrlca Insurance - My state requires me to have full coverage and beyond due to my work other states are different. I remember getting something in the mail at one time for long term care insurance. I got a nasty letter in the mail from the union when i was a rca. The number i gave in post #22. Which ever insurance company you choose, you must ask for a rider 513 for your vehicle. The rural carrier benefit plan (rcbp) is the only plan dedicated to rural letter carriers, annuitants, and their families.
I have tried to find info on the union website. Today got my pension via direct deposit and there was a $9.17 difference which is the retiree monthly dues. The copays are less and there is coverage for out of network providers (although reduced). I would have to call back and try to type all the things they say and that ain't happening tonight.
